Scary but True Stories
“AAAHHHH!” you shriek. And suddenly your husbands and children are at the craft room door asking if they should call an ambulance. “NO,” you sigh, not knowing whether to laugh or cry, “I just spilled ink everywhere.” Thrills, frills, and spills are all part of everyday scrapbooking. And sometimes something happens that really gives you the chills just thinking about it. Send your scary but true scrapbooking or crafting mishaps, including happy accidents, to letters@creatingkeepsakes.com and your story may be published in the October 2010 issue. Write “scary but true” in the subject line. And remember, sometimes the only difference between a good scream and a good laugh is time.
