Hi there, Paper-Lovin’ Peeps!
It feels like it’s been a while since my last blog appearance, and I was starting to get blog-sick—you know, like “home sick” but longing for the blog. (Is there such a thing?) Good thing it’s time for another “CK & Me” installment. And a good installment it is, too.
Let’s begin with a sketch, shall we? I bet this one looks familiar. It was our April 09 “Becky’s Sketch” design.
Aimee saw its creative potential and turned it into this shining design. Nicely done, Aimee. For a complete supply list for this page, as well as more inspiring page designs, check out Aimee’s blog.
Inspired by a project Ali Edwards created, Jennifer DeDonado created this colorfully cool monogram letter, which hangs on the wall outside her studio. To see more of her “J” collection, take a peek at her blog.
Do you remember this rock star page designed by Allison Davis, featured on page 64 of our June issue?
Well, check out how Dana has tuned it to make her own unique chord. (Sorry. I can rarely resist a pun opportunity.) See more of Dana’s stunning work on her blog.
And, the CK inspiration doesn’t end with the scrapbook pages. Cute Christine’s creativity bloomed when she saw this delicious BasicGrey ad in our July 2009 issue (pg. 3).
Moved by the “quilting” around the ad’s edge, she created a similar pattern on this page. For close-up shots of this layout, as well as plenty of pretty eye candy, take time to visit Christine’s blog.

Hey Megan, your right it has been a while. I’ve been thinking about starting a blog I luv readin all the CK blogs(since I’ve starting DIY projects for the wedding and my scrapbooking pages are improving I wanted to get feedback from the world), but Im so busy I’m not sure if I’ll have time to keep up with it. We’ll since I’m off July 3rd maybe I’ll start it then (I’ll let u know if I do). I have added a project or 2 in my gallery check it out. Guess what I’ve started making cards and entered the Gallery Idol (Wish me luck).
P.S. – I looove that Basicgray ad in the July issue its so eye catching the colors are beautiful and the whole desgin concept is so creative.
